WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

BIC Innovation delivers services directly to clients and deliver support programmes on behalf of public sector bodies. The personal information you provide us will be used to:

1. Send you relevant information about services, business support programmes which may be of interest to your business

3. Provide our services, advice and deliver reports

4. Send invitations and provide appropriate access to guests attending our offices, events and webinars. This includes any events or webinars we deliver on behalf of other parties such as Welsh Government

5. To make travel arrangements on your behalf, including for example, travel arrangements to participate in overseas trade missions or study tours

6. To deliver our contractual obligations under the public-sector funded programmes we manage

We may share personal data with trusted third parties to help us deliver efficient and quality services. This includes our public sector partners such as Welsh Government, Innovate UK, Local Enterprise Partnerships, academic partners and other programme delivery partners

We may work in collaboration with other reputable third parties to help us deliver services and/or public sector funded programmes. These third parties will receive the minimal amount of personal data in order for them to complete their part of the service/programme delivery. Our contracts and agreements with them will stipulate that your data should not be used for any other reason.

We will share personal information with relevant agencies and authorities, and without notice, where requested to do so or where fraudulent/criminal activity is suspected.

We may make credit checks with reputable agencies if we need to confirm your identity and your credit history.

Almost all of the data we hold about you is stored on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). In the limited circumstances when your personal data may be transferred outside of the EEA, we will take suitable steps in order to ensure that your personal data is treated just as safely and securely as it would be within the UK.

We use Spotler to process our email alerts.

Information derived from cookies are shared with Google and used for Google Analytics, which can be held by Google on servers within the EEA or the USA. All actions by Google in relation to the data of persons in the UK are subject to the GDPR and does not show who individual visitors are.
